The 19 Other States That Have Reciprocity With The Utah Provisional Permit Which Allows A Person At Least 18 Years Old To Carry A Concealed Firearm Are:

The following states have Constitutional Carry. Anyone who can legally possess a firearm and meet the minimum age requirement may carry it concealed in these states without a permit/license.

  • Must be at least 18 years old: Idaho, Mississippi, Missouri, New Hampshire, South Dakota, and Vermont
  • Must be at least 21 years old: Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas*, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine**, Oklahoma***, and West Virginia****
  • Must be a resident of their state: North Dakota, and Wyoming

* Arkansas: Any person 21 years of age or older who can legally possess a firearm OR those who are 18 years of age or older who are Active Military, National Guard, Reserve, or Honorably Discharged Veterans.

** Maine: Any person 21 years of age or older who
can legally possess a firearm OR those who are 18 years of age or older who are Active Duty /Retired Military/Honorably Discharged Veteran.

*** Oklahoma: Any person 21 years of age or older who can legally possess a firearm OR those who are 18 years of age or older who are Active Military, National Guard, Reserve, or Honorably Discharged Veterans.

****West Virginia: Any person 21 years of age or older who
can legally possess a firearm OR those who are 18 years of age or older who are Active Duty Military, National Guard, or Reserve.

These states are California, Connecticut*, Hawaii, Illinois, Oregon, Maryland*, Massachusetts*, Minnesota*, New Jersey*, New Mexico, New York, Rhode Island*, South Carolina*, and Washington D.C*.

* It may be possible for a Utah resident to obtain a non-resident permit/license from a state listed above which would allow you to carry a concealed firearm within that state. All information to obtain these state’s non-resident permit/license is provided below.
